Technoform Glassinsulation

What is a spacer?

A spacer is a component that separates and seals the panes of glass within a double or triple glazed window.

  • Double glazed windows with TGI

Double glazed windows fitted with our TGI-Spacer will offer you superior insulating properties that will not only keep your house warm in winter but cool in summer.

The benefits from double glazed windows is obvious as your energy bills decrease but you will also help the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

  • How does the TGI-Spacer let you save money and reduce CO2 emmisions?

The TGI-Spacer is much less conductive than a traditional spacer bar made of aluminium. This means that using a TGI-Spacer energy will not be easily transferred through the windows.

  • Reduce condensation

When the air in a room is moist, condensation can occur on the pane of glass in contact with warmer air. TGI-Spacers can avoid the formation of condensation or mould through better insulation by keeping the inner pane of glass at the same temperature as the internal air.
